Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved on your device by your web browser. Dealmo uses cookies and local storage only to the extent necessary for the Service to work.

2. Which storage mechanisms we use

Website localStorage (dealmo.pl)

The Dealmo marketing site saves the key dealmo.cookies with the value accepted in localStorage after you click the consent banner. This is local browser data — it is not a cookie sent to the server.

If you start choosing categories before signing in, the site also saves the key dealmo.anon-marketplaces with your selected marketplaces, so it doesn't ask again after you sign in. This value also stays in your browser only; it is removed once your selection is saved to your account, and until then you can delete it by clearing the site's browser data.

Authentication cookies (Clerk)

Authentication is handled entirely by Clerk. Clerk sets its own session cookies needed to sign you in and verify your identity. Dealmo does not manage these cookies directly — they are governed by Clerk's privacy policy.

Server infrastructure (Vercel)

The application server runs on the Vercel platform. Vercel may set its own infrastructure cookies (e.g. for routing) needed for the platform to work. These are governed by Vercel's privacy policy.

3. Product analytics (PostHog)

Dealmo uses PostHog for product analytics — to understand how you use the Service and to improve it. PostHog saves an identifier in your browser's localStorage (and related cookies) and collects usage events (e.g. opening the chat, sending a query, clicks). Data is processed in the EU region (eu.posthog.com), and in the web app is proxied through our own domain (dealmo.pl/ingest). Analytics only starts after you accept the cookie banner.

We do not integrate Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising networks, and we do not use cross-site advertising tracking.

4. How to manage cookies

You can control cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies (set by Clerk) will prevent you from signing in to the Service.

5. Consent

By using dealmo.pl, you consent to the use of cookies necessary for the Service to work (Clerk, Vercel) and to product analytics (PostHog). Your cookie banner choice is saved locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent to the server.
